Event
Trick or Tri at Merrill Ranch is a multisport event on October 31, 2026 at Merrill Ranch, 3200 North Anthem Way, Florence, AZ. The event includes adult and youth categories and relay options. Course and race procedures
The swim takes place in a pool with athletes started individually at 15 second gaps and seeded fastest to slowest. Adult swim uses a lane-to-lane pattern through eight lanes before exiting to transition. The adult bike course is two loops of 6 miles each and follows local streets including N. Anthem Way, Merrill Ranch Parkway, and Felix, with a turnaround at Hunt Highway. Bike helmets are required.
Logistics, timing and awards
The event uses chip timing; chips are worn on the left ankle, must be returned at the finish, and lost or unreturned chips are charged to the athlete. Packet pick-up is available before race day. Participants receive a long sleeve race hoodie option, post-race refreshments, finisher medals, and awards for top finishers by category and age group.
