About the race
The 2026 Mercedes-Benz Stadium Move with MADD 5K is a charity running event held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. All participants have the opportunity to finish on the stadium field, and 100% of event proceeds go to MADD Georgia.
The event offers multiple distances for different ages:
- 5K (ages 8 and older)
- Mile (ages 8 and older)
- Dash (ages 7 and under)
Event features include a commemorative adidas shirt, a finishers medal for 5K participants, and free parking for pre-registered participants; on-site registrants are required to pay for parking. The 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes and a hydration station serving water at the 2 mile mark.
Race operations use a MYLAPS ThinTag timing chip attached to the back of the bib; bibs must be visible, unaltered, and pinned in all four corners. Unofficial results are available immediately via the Atlanta Track Club race app, with official results finalized about two weeks after the event.
The event is part of the ATL Fit Fan Series; in-person participants who complete all three series races receive a unique medal. Atlanta Track Club events run rain or shine, though severe weather or lightning may cause delay or cancellation.
