2026 Mercedes-Benz Stadium Move with MADD 5K
The Mercedes-Benz Stadium Move with MADD 5K is presented by Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United FC, Atlanta Track Club and Mothers Against Drunk Driving - Georgia. The event is MADD's signature fundraising event to raise awareness and funds to eliminate drunk and drugged driving. It is part of the ATL Fit Fan Series, and in-person participants who complete all three ATL Fit Fan Series races receive a unique medal.
Distances
- 5K (ages 8 and older)
- Mile (ages 8 and older)
- Dash (ages 7 and under)
The event takes place at The Home Depot Backyard in Atlanta. Due to venue availability, the 2026 course finishes outside the stadium in the Home Depot Backyard and does not include the traditional on-field finish. The day will include a race-day celebration with additional activities and experiences around the venue.
Event items and logistics include a commemorative adidas shirt, a finishers medal for the 5K, and free parking for pre-registered participants. There may be on-site registration if spots remain and t-shirt sizing cannot be guaranteed for late registrants.
Course details note a 5K time limit of 1 hour 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace) and a hydration station at 1.5 miles offering water only. For safety, no pets or wheeled conveyances are permitted on course and headphones are strongly discouraged. Timing uses the MYLAPS ThinTag on the bib; unofficial results are available immediately via the event app and results are made official after approximately two weeks. Accommodations for athletes with disabilities are available on an individualized basis. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
