Merced Turkey Trot overview
The Merced Turkey Trot takes place in Merced, CA, at Lake Yosemite next to UC Merced on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The event is organized by the Merced Running Club, with timing services provided by On Your Mark Events. Distances offered include:
- Kids 1K
- 2 Mile Run/Walk
- 5 Mile Run
All 2 Mile and 5 Mile participants will be chip timed. Prizes will be awarded after the race.
Registration, fees and other details
The event includes a raffle option: bringing a new unwrapped toy earns a raffle ticket. Proceeds benefit Toys for Tots, Merced County Chapter. Entry fees are: Kid's 1K (ages 10 and under) $15 and includes a finisher medal but not a T-shirt; 2-Mile and 5-Mile entries are $30 for ages 18 and under and $35 for adults 19 and over. Fees increase by $5 on race day. There are no refunds. Register by November 8 to be guaranteed a T-shirt; after that date T-shirts are first come, first served while supplies last. Kid's 1K participants receive a kid's finisher medal; 2-Mile and 5-Mile participants receive an adult custom commemorative finisher medal. Race day check-in and race day registration are available.
