Merced Paws on Patrol Fun Run
Merced Paws on Patrol Fun Run takes place at Lake Yosemite in Merced, California, on October 17, 2026. The event is presented as an in-person fun run with no virtual option for the Merced date.
The event offers multiple distance choices. Distances available include:
- 1 mile - with dog and no dog entries
- 5K (3.1 miles) - with dog and no dog entries
- 10K (6.2 miles) - with dog and no dog entries
The Merced run is part of the Paws on Patrol K-9 Heroes Series, which also includes a Paws on Patrol 5K in Atwater offered as a virtual event on October 3, 2026. Series participation combines both events and provides exclusive K-9 themed finisher medals that are designed to be part of a larger collection.
Proceeds and series support are directed toward programs that benefit local law enforcement K-9 teams and their handlers. The event materials describe the series as honoring the service of working police dogs and offering two race experiences linked by the K-9 Heroes theme.
