Memorial Day Hero Salute : Kingwood, TX
The Memorial Day Hero Salute takes place on May 25, 2026 in Kingwood, TX (Town Center Park area, 8 N Main St). Rad Racing Company hosts the event. The race benefits Semper Fi & Americas Fund, Impact a Hero, and We Run for Him. All event participants receive a custom race shirt, finishers medal, and race bib. Pre-race and post-race activities include music, sponsor and vendor booths, live results, awards presentations, a tug-of-war competition, and refreshments.
Event formats, awards and other details
The event offers in-person and virtual options, plus a volunteer-with-run option. In-person event formats include: MURPH (one round: 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air-squats, 1-mile run), LOREDO (six rounds: 24 air-squats, 24 push-ups, 24 lunges, 0.25-mile run), Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids Mini-Salute (open to ages 1–10; one round with 0.25-mile runs and bodyweight exercises). Virtual participants receive a digital bib, event shirt, medal, and mailed packet; they may upload times and photos. Volunteer then Run is available to LOREDO and 5K participants and includes volunteer benefits; full race volunteers receive race swag and one free entry to a future Rad Racing Company event. Awards include male and female overall and age-group placements; event-specific award categories and top-3 placements are listed for each distance.
