Event Overview
The 38th Annual Memorial Day Classic is a running event taking place on Memorial Day. The event honors America's fallen soldiers and frontline workers. It is traditionally held in South Florida, Atlanta, and Washington D.C., with the 2026 event taking place in Weston, Florida.
Events and Registration
The event includes two registration options:
- A standalone 5K run.
- A COMBO package for the Memorial Day 5K and a separate Weston July 4th 5K.
The entry fee for the 5K is $30, with the price increasing after May 9, 2026. The combo package costs $60, with a price increase after April 30, 2026.
Location and Details
The race starts and finishes at Weston Town Center (1675 Market St, Weston, FL). A pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the event at the YMCA Weston on Saddle Club Road.
Course and Tradition
The 5K course features a "Final Mile of Fallen Heroes," also called the Red, White, and Blue Mile. This section is lined with photos of fallen military heroes submitted by their families. The event is noted for its participant medals, which have been sourced from within the United States.
