Melmerby Ripon 10k

The Melmerby Ripon 10k is a single-lap road race taking place in North Yorkshire. The event follows an undulating route that begins and ends in the village of Melmerby. Participants travel through the rural scenery of surrounding villages on a course that has historically facilitated personal best times. The race has an entry limit of 500 participants and is not suitable for wheelchairs.

The event headquarters are located at the Melmerby & Middleton Quernhow Village Hall. Facilities at the hall include male and female toilets, a selection of refreshments, and changing areas. While there is no formal baggage storage provided, participants may leave bags in the hall at their own risk. Additional toilet facilities are located nearby at Blythes Garage, and free car parking is situated close to the headquarters.

This event supports the Charlie Dallas Lancaster Foundation, a local charity focused on mental health. Race numbers and timing chips are collected from the village hall on the morning of the event. The course includes distance markers and water stations. Marshals and local residents provide support along the route, and finishers are greeted by a crowd in the village centre.
