Medway Police Chase 5K & Kids Fun Run Obstacle Course : September 26, 2026
The Medway Police Association organizes the 7th annual Medway Police Chase on September 26, 2026 at the Medway Parks & Recreation Facility, 123 Holliston Street, Medway, MA. The event features a new race route introduced for the first time in six years and is presented as an evening glow run and family event.
The program includes the following distances:
- 5K : Adults, Kids (18 and under), Over 70
- 1 mile : Kids Fun Run Obstacle Course, ages 3 to 12
The Kids Fun Run uses three inflatable obstacle houses and a fenced-in glowing field. The 5K is timed by The EMPIRE Timing Company. Awards are given to top finishers by age group: under 18 top three female and male, and single top female and male in the 19–25, 26–35, 36–45, 46–55, and 56+ categories.
Registration details vary by entry: some categories open July 1, 2026 and the adult 5K opens July 11, 2026; most regular registrations close September 25, 2026 while the over-70 entry allows later registration. Entry fees are listed per category, including a free entry for the over-70 category. Participants who register by September 12, 2026 are eligible for a race T-shirt.
Bib pick-up is available on September 24, 2026 at Mickey Cassidy’s Restaurant and on race day at the Parks & Rec facility. Proceeds support local programs including youth sports, the Medway Lions Club, and the Boy Scouts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
