Medina Half & 5K
The Medina Half & 5K is a community-focused running event held in Medina, Ohio. The event aims to provide the amenities and experience of a large-scale race within a local town setting. Participants include runners and walkers of various ages and experience levels.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- Half Marathon (Run and Competitive Walk)
- 5K (Run and Walk)
The course is supported with infrastructure to assist participants throughout the distance. Water and Gatorade stations are positioned approximately every 1.5 miles. For the Half Marathon, portable restrooms are available at miles 1, 3.5, 4.5, 7, 10, and 11.5. Medical support is provided via a tent located at the start and finish area, as well as a secondary medical station at mile 7.
The event functions as a fundraiser for local causes and is organized by Run Medina. Registration for the races is non-refundable and non-deferrable, though transfer requests are permitted if submitted by the specified deadline in early May.
