Medford Mile Run
The Medford Mile Run takes place on May 9, 2026 at Shawnee High School in Medford, New Jersey. The event includes timed mile races on the track, a 400 meter fun run for younger children, and several field events. Rolling heats will group runners by similar age and ability, beginning with the youngest participants and concluding with the adult heats. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age and gender group.
Registration opens April 12, 2026. Registration deadlines vary by event: adult mile registration closes April 23, 2026; youth mile and littles 400m registration close May 7, 2026; field event registration closes May 9, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer include a $15 fee for the adult mile and no fee for youth and littles. All proceeds support the MYAA Track & Field Club. A rain date is scheduled for May 30, 2026.
Age and event notes: youth runners ages 5 to 7 compete in a 400 meter fun run. Full mile entries require participants to be at least 8 years old and capable of running a full mile prior to the event. Field events and eligibility are described by birth year ranges; implements such as shots, discs, and turbos will be provided but athletes may bring their own equipment.
