The Light Run
The Light Run takes place on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Pitman, NJ. The event is a holiday-themed fun run held at Ballard Park with an after party at Merryman's Pub (110 S. Broadway, Pitman). Registration fee is listed as $20.
Route, format and charity
The course is approximately 3.1 miles through Pitman neighborhoods featuring holiday lights. This event is a fun run, not a timed race; roads are not closed and the majority of the route can be run on sidewalks. Pedestrian laws should be followed. All ages are welcome; children should be accompanied by an adult. Participants receive a custom "Light Run" signature gift and a drink ticket for the after party. The event supports Pitman Parks & Recreation and will accept unwrapped toy donations at the start for Toys for Tots. The run is co-sponsored by Mean Guy Running and Good Day for a Run.
