Medford Lakes Colony Memorial Day 5K
The event is a chip-timed 5K run held in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, with the course routed through and along shaded trails and lakes. The course is USATF certified and includes 1-mile and 2-mile markers. The course is described as flat and suited to fast times.
Water and light refreshments are provided at the finish. Age group awards are based on chip time rather than gun time to space runners at the start. Awards include overall male and female, first male and female veteran/active/reserve military, and age-group awards for male and female in 3-deep placings across the following brackets: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
Registration fee is $15, with a discounted fee of $10 for veterans and active/reserve military. There will be no race day registration. All race proceeds benefit Handicap Accessibility.
