Event Overview
The Running Events Devon Medal Mix Challenge Day 1 is an eight-hour timed event taking place on Saturday, 28th November 2026. The course is situated near Capel Lane in Littleham, Exmouth, and utilizes an old disused train line. This route is an accurately measured out-and-back course consisting of 5.3 km laps. The terrain is classified as road and is run entirely on tarmac surfaces.
Participation and Format
The event utilizes a flexible "Turn Up Get Going" system, allowing participants to begin their run at various times as long as they complete their final lap by a specific afternoon cutoff. The challenge is open to both runners and walkers of all abilities, with a minimum age requirement of 18 years. Participants can choose how many laps they wish to complete within the eight-hour limit.

The course is described as undulating and follows a scenic path along the former railway line. Because this is a Medal Mix event, participants receive a selection from a variety of available medals upon finishing at least one lap. The event is permitted by the ARC and has a maximum capacity of 75 entrants.
