Meals On Wheels Western Michigan March for Meals
The Meals On Wheels Western Michigan March for Meals takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Millennium Park - Grant Pavilion, 1400 Maynard Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI. This is the event's fifth annual edition. The event raises funds and awareness for Home-Delivered Meals, Community Dining Sites, and Senior Pantry programs serving seniors in Kent and Allegan counties.

The 2-mile course is a loop in the park; the 5K uses that same loop with an extension farther into the park. Registration for in-person entries includes a race shirt and a medal; participants may opt out of the shirt for a $10 discount. Kids ages 0-7 attend free with no registration required. Dogs are permitted and a medal for a dog is available as an add-on.
Packet pickup is available at Grant Pavilion, with an alternate pickup the Friday before at Meals on Wheels Western Michigan in Grandville. The virtual option includes a mailed race packet with a t-shirt and allows participants to complete their own 2-mile or 5K route and submit photos.
Prizes will be awarded for 5K overall and age-group winners. Costume prizes will be given for best-dressed adult, child, and dog, and awards will also recognize the youngest and oldest runners. Fundraising incentives include a $10 refund at $100 raised and two tickets to a signature Chef's Specialty event at $500 raised. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
