Event
Black Hill 10K 2026 is a trail race scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event uses a cross-country style course of 10K distance. The course was introduced in 2009 and includes rocks, roots, and sections described as challenging. A course map is provided by the organizer.
Course and location
The race is held at Black Hill Regional Park, 20930 Lake Ridge Drive, Boyds, MD 20841. Participants are asked to follow signs for picnic shelter J. Detailed driving directions from I-270N are provided by the organizer.
Registration and policies
The event is part of a low-key race series. It is free for MCRRC members; members do not need standard race registration but must sign up for a 2025 bib and chip so those items will be available at the race. Non-members pay a registration fee of $15 plus fees for ages 18 and over and $10 plus fees for participants under 18. Online registration for non-members remains open until the start of the race. If a non-member cannot attend, registration can be moved to another low-key event; refunds are not provided.
