Black Hill 10K 2026 : Black Hill Regional Park
This event is a trail race held at Black Hill Regional Park in Boyds, Maryland. The course follows natural park trails and is described as containing rocks, roots, and sections that require careful footing. The race began in 2009 and is organized as part of a low-key race series. MCRRC members may participate free of charge as part of that series; members are asked to sign up for a 2025 bib and chip ahead of the season or bring an older chip to exchange. New members without a previous chip are asked to bring a $5 chip deposit. Non-members may register for a fee of $15 plus fees for participants ages 18 and over, and $10 plus fees for participants under 18; online registration for non-members remains open until the race start. The event is staffed by volunteers, and the registration table will collect used running shoes for a charitable purpose.
