McLean 5K
The McLean 5K takes place on October 10, 2026 with the start and finish at McLean Square Shopping Center, 6631 Old Dominion, McLean, VA 22101. The event is organized by the McLean Community Center and the McLean Community Foundation.
A certified course runs through McLean. Proceeds from the race will benefit the McLean Community Foundation to support local schools, seniors, the arts, parks, and first responders.
Registration opens June 7, 2026. Registration fees are tiered: $40 through August 31, $45 from September 1 through September 30, and $50 from October 1 through race day. Race t-shirts are ordered in advance and are not guaranteed; shirts will be distributed while supplies last.
Packet pickup is scheduled as follows: Friday, October 9 at the McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave, McLean, VA 22101 (9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) and Saturday, October 10 at the event site, 6631 Old Dominion Dr, McLean, VA 22101 (7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.).
Medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers and to the top two male and female finishers in each age group: Under 9; 10–14; 15–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; 70 and over. Prizes will be awarded during the post-race ceremony and winners must be present to receive them.
