McGuire's St. Patrick's Day Prediction 5K Run : Pensacola, FL
The event is the 49th annual McGuire's St. Patrick's Day Prediction 5K Run held in Pensacola at McGuire's Irish Pub. The course is a USATF certified 5K (3.1 miles) that starts and finishes at McGuire's in downtown Pensacola.
Registration includes a McGuire's 5K run shirt and access to a post-race party with live entertainment, Irish fare, Irish Wakes, Bud Light, McGuire's Red Ale and soft drinks. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on race day from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
This is a prediction-format race. Each participant submits a predicted completion time on the registration form; finishers closest to their predicted time are declared winners. The use of watches or timing devices is considered an unfair advantage and may result in disqualification. Official results are based on computer time. Participants must be able to run or walk 3.1 miles in under one hour; stragglers may be picked up by the event bus. The course will be reopened to traffic after the event.
