9th Annual MCAC Fit to Achieve 5K
The 9th Annual MCAC Fit to Achieve 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Forsyth, Georgia. The race begins and ends at the Monroe County Achievement Center, located at 433 Highway 41 South, Forsyth, GA 31029. The event is part of a service-learning project for students and aims to promote a healthy lifestyle by encouraging exercise and healthy food choices. All proceeds will be used to enhance the educational experience of students at the Monroe County Achievement Center.

- Distance: 5K
The course starts and finishes at the Monroe County Achievement Center. Forsyth is described as approximately one hour south of Atlanta and 30 minutes north of Macon. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group from 6 to 75+. Additional awards will be given for the best-dressed group and the most creative costume. Race shirts are guaranteed to registrants who register by March 6, 2026. The event lists sponsors organized in gold, silver, and bronze tiers.
