Event overview
The 9th Annual MCAC Fit to Achieve 5K takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Forsyth, Georgia. The event is part of a service-learning project for students and aims to promote a healthy lifestyle by encouraging exercise and healthy food choices. Forsyth is located approximately one hour south of Atlanta and 30 minutes north of Macon.
Logistics and awards
The race is a 5K course that begins and ends at the Monroe County Achievement Center, 433 Highway 41 South, Forsyth, GA 31029. Race shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by March 6, 2026. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group from 6 to 75+. Additional awards will be presented for the best-dressed group and the most creative costume. All proceeds will be used to enhance the educational experience of students at the Monroe County Achievement Center. Sponsors support the event in gold, silver, and bronze tiers.
