Mayor's 5K Run/Walk

The Mayor's 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 3, 2026 in Haines City, Florida. The event benefits Haines City's Relay for Life and is centered at Lake Eva Park.

The course is a loop around Lake Eva. Participants start at Lake Eva Park and finish on the Great Lawn, passing along 3rd St., Wood Ave., S. 1st St., Peninsular Ave., Peninsular Dr., Alta Vista Dr., S. 10th St., S. 8th St., Johns Ave., and S. 9th St.

Registration opens August 1, 2026 and closes September 30, 2026. Entry fees are $25 for adults ages 18 and up, $21 for youth ages 17 and under, and $20 per person for groups of 15 or more. All participants receive a t-shirt. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both the adult and youth categories. Medals are given to all finishers.
