Mayor's 5K Run/Walk
The Mayor's 5K Run/Walk is a community race in Haines City that benefits Relay for Life. The course starts at Lake Eva Park, follows a loop around the lake using local streets and the Lake Eva Park Trail, and finishes on the park's Great Lawn. The route passes along 3rd Street, Wood Avenue, South 1st Street, Peninsular Avenue and Drive, Alta Vista Drive, South 10th Street, South 8th Street, Johns Avenue, and South 9th Street before returning to the park.
Registration opens May 14, 2026, and closes October 1, 2026. The entry fee is $25. All participants receive a t-shirt and finisher medals. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers.
