Trail Running at Oakes Quarry Park
The May the Course Be with You event takes place at Oakes Quarry Park in Fairborn, Ohio. The course leads participants through a landscape characterized by limestone cliffs, wooded trails, and views of the quarry. The terrain is rugged, providing a natural surface for trail running during the spring season.
The event offers three distinct trail race distances:
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 15k (9.3 miles)
The registration fee varies by distance. Participants who register by May 1st receive a short-sleeve race shirt, while those registering after this date will not receive a shirt. All participants who complete their chosen distance are awarded a finisher medal. Special awards are also designated for the overall winners in each of the three race categories.
