22nd Annual Matzohball Event
The Matzohball 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is an annual community event held at the Western Regional Park in Woodbine, Maryland. This event supports local charities and offers multiple ways to participate, including a timed race and a shorter walking or running option.

The courses at Howard County Western Regional Park have been designed with various turns to accommodate participants of all ages. For the 5K event, awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three participants in age categories ranging from 12 and under to 80 and over.
Participants who utilize family registration receive a coupon for a cup of matzohball soup from a local Maryland business. Race packets include a themed t-shirt. Packet pickup is organized on the day before the event at a local sports shop in Elkridge, with additional pickup and registration options available at the park on the morning of the run. Ample parking is available on-site at Western Regional Park. All participants are required to wear their bibs on the front of their body and follow the instructions provided by race officials and course signage.
