Matzohball 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Matzohball 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on June 7, 2026, at Howard County Western Regional Park in Woodbine, Maryland. The event includes a 5K race, a 1-mile fun run/walk, and a shirt-only registration option. Family registration includes a coupon for one cup of Matzohball Soup provided by Mikey & Mel's, Maple Lawn Maryland, placed in the packet pickup bag.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Road Runner Sports in Elkridge on the Saturday before the event from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with on-site packet pickup and race morning registration at the park from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. Road Runner Sports will contribute to the event for each packet picked up at the store and will offer store incentives during packet pickup.
Organizers note they prepared the course with over 15 hours of work and describe it as having a number of twists and turns. The 5K awards include top overall male and female and the top three in each age group. Age groups are: 12 and under; 13-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80-plus.
