Matters of the Heart Nashville 9K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Community Walk

Matters of the Heart Nashville is a community event on June 6, 2026, held at Hadley Park, 1037 28th Ave N, Nashville TN 37208. The event offers both in person and virtual participation and describes itself as a pre-Juneteenth celebration aimed at empowering diverse local communities and strengthening North Nashville ties.

Registration for the event includes a participant tee and a finisher medal. Overall prizes are awarded to the top three finishers by gender in the 9K. Award distribution occurs within 30 minutes after the last eligible winner crosses the finish line; winners must be present to claim awards and awards will not be mailed.

The course is contained within Hadley Park. The 9K consists of 10 loops of the course and the 1 mile walk consists of 3 loops. Participants are asked to keep track of their own loops, to keep to the right of the path unless passing, and to avoid bunching together while running or walking.
