Matters of the Heart Nashville 9K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Community Walk
This event is a community run and walk held at Hadley Park in North Nashville. It offers two distances with both onsite and virtual entry options. Registration opens January 1, 2027 and closes June 5, 2027. Fees are listed as $45.00 for the 9K and $20.00 for the 1 mile; virtual entries carry the same fees.

Registration includes a participant tee and a finisher medal. Every 9K participant is noted to receive a complimentary T-shirt and a custom finisher’s medal. Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the 9K; awards are distributed within 30 minutes after the last eligible winner crosses the finish and must be claimed in person. Awards will not be mailed.
The course is contained within Hadley Lillard Park. The 9K route is completed by doing ten loops of the course and the 1 mile route by three loops. Participants are asked to keep track of their own laps, stay to the right of the path unless passing, and avoid bunching together when running or walking. The event is presented as part of a pre Juneteenth community celebration in North Nashville. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
