Mattea's Joy SuperHero 5K
Mattea's Joy SuperHero 5K is a fundraising event to support families with children who are hospitalized. It takes place on May 2, 2026 at Perry Farm Park in Bradley, Illinois.
The event program includes multiple participation options:
- 5K
- 2 Mile Walk
- Virtual 5K
- Kid 5K (12 and under only)
- Kid 2 Mile Walk (12 and under only)
The event is professionally chip timed. Race winners receive a custom Mattea's Joy medal. Awards are given to the top three times in each age category: under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and over 60. Costume awards are presented for Best individual, Best group or family costume, and Best kid costume.
Registration details include a pre-registration fee of $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under plus a $2.50 online processing fee. A t-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by April 13. Day of race registration is available for a higher fee. Virtual participation is offered as a separate registration option.
