Driveway Doc Memorial 5K
The Driveway Doc Memorial 5K takes place on January 10, 2026, at the Powdersville YMCA in Piedmont, SC (9115 SC-81, Piedmont, SC 29673). This is the second annual running of the event. The race honors a local orthopedic surgeon and community member who provided medical care and support to neighbors and youth. Proceeds from the event will support the organizations Let There Be Mom and the Powdersville YMCA.
Event details
The main distance is 5K. Entry fee is $35. Online registration closes January 7, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Packet pickup is scheduled before the race. A course map is available online. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are 0-9, 10-12, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, and 80+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
