31st Annual Matt McCloskey Memorial Narberth CF Run & Walk

The Narberth Cystic Fibrosis Run is a charity event held in Narberth, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. The event takes place in the heart of the Main Line and supports the Take A Breather Foundation's mission to assist individuals living with cystic fibrosis. The course guides participants through the streets of Narberth, with various options available for different ages and activity levels.

Participants can choose from several event distances:

  • 5-mile competitive run
  • 2-mile family fun walk
  • Kids dash

The 5-mile run features a competitive format with electronic chip timing and utilizes a USATF certified course. For the safety of participants, roads along the route are closed to vehicle traffic during the event. A water station is provided at the mile 3 mark. Runners who remain on the course after the roads reopen are required to move to public sidewalks.

Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female in specific age groups. Special honors include the John A. Nardi Jr. Award for top finishers and the Matt McCloskey Award for the top fundraising team. Participants who register by the mid-April deadline are guaranteed a custom-designed t-shirt. Registration is available in advance or as walk-up registration at the Narberth Park basketball courts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
