Mateship Run
The Mateship Run takes place in Currumbin at 165 Duringan Street, Queensland, on 8 November 2026. The event raises funds and awareness for Veteran Services and commemorates Remembrance Day. Organisers describe the flagship distance as a nod to the signing of the Armistice at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month.
The main distance is an 11.11 km course with a timing mat at the 10 km point to provide a split time for comparison with other 10 km events. In 2026 a team element is included for the 11.11 km: the times of the fastest four finishers from each team are added to create an accumulative team time. Teams may be all male, all female, or mixed.
The event also offers shorter options for younger participants and groups, and takes place along routes that pass through the natural areas of Currumbin.
