About the race
The Massapequa Park Mile is a USATF-Long Island sanctioned, certified road race held in Massapequa Park, New York. The event features a main 1 mile race with separate heats for women and men and a free Kids Fun Run that follows the main mile races. The course is USATF certified; the start is one mile north of registration on Lake Shore Drive and the finish is on Park Boulevard before Clark Boulevard.
Registration options include a standard fee structure with youth discounts; examples listed include a 1 mile registration price of $23.45 (includes processing fee) and a discounted rate for participants 18 and under. Race fees are non-refundable and non-transferable per the event terms. Bib pickup is available on race day at the Massapequa Funeral Home parking lot at Park Boulevard and Clark Boulevard; runners who register three weeks in advance may request name printing on their bib.
Event amenities include shirts for runners registered before 09/05/26, free finish line photos and videos delivered by email and online, and live results via text and email. Awards are given to top overall men and women, top masters (40+), and top three in multiple age-group divisions. A course record bonus of $100 is offered.
