Martock 10k
Martock 10k is a one lap road race set on quiet country roads on the edge of the Somerset Levels. The route passes through rural scenery and covers a distance of 10 km.
The event is presented as well supported and friendly. It is described as an opportunity to set a 10 km personal best and as suitable for 10 km novices.
All finishers receive a metal medal and downloadable professional quality event photos. The event operates under an England Athletics licence, number #31366, and is based at Martock Recreation Ground.
Headphone use is restricted. In line with UKA Rule T55 S5 the organisers allow bone conducting headphones only. In-ear headphones and non bone conducting devices are not permitted and runners seen using them will be disqualified. The organisers accept no responsibility for breaches of this rule.
Entry categories distinguish between affiliated runners and unaffiliated runners. An affiliated runner is one who is a member of a UKA, ARC or TRA club. An unaffiliated runner is not a member of such a club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
