Martock 10k
The event is a single lap road race that uses quiet country roads around the edge of the Somerset Levels. The course passes through rural scenery and starts and finishes at Martock Recreation Ground.
Organisers present the race as an opportunity to set a 10k personal best and as suitable for novice 10k runners. The event offers a metal medal and downloadable professional quality event photos for all finishers.
Headphone use is restricted. UKA Rule T55 S5 permits bone conducting headphones, and the event will allow bone conducting headphones. In-ear headphones and non bone conducting devices are not permitted. Runners seen wearing non bone conducting headphones will be disqualified. The organisers state they accept no responsibility should this rule be ignored and warn that noncompliance could affect future licence applications.
Entry categories are listed for affiliated runners (those affiliated to a UKA, ARC or TRA club) and unaffiliated runners (those not affiliated to a club). England Athletics licence number is listed as TBC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
