About the race

Martin House Miler is a timed loop running event held at Martin House Brewery in Fort Worth, Texas on October 9–11, 2026. The event is part of the Trails to Taps Series and is limited to 300 runners. The course is a precisely wheeled two mile loop on the Trinity River trails; the trail is paved but runners may choose to run alongside it on grass.

The event offers multiple timed distances and relay options:

  • 48 hour individual and 48 hour 4-person relay
  • 24 hour individual and relay
  • 12 hour individual
  • 6 hour individual
  • 3 hour individual
  • 1 hour individual

Aid is located at the start/finish of the loop and is organized as full aid stations. Typical supplies include drinks (Gatorade, water, electrolyte mix), sodas, sweets and salty snacks, PB&Js and bean burrito rolls, fruit, hot evening foods, and basic medical supplies (no NSAIDs). The event is cupless; reusable cups, bottles, or hydration packs are expected. A drop bag area will be provided on a tarp at the main aid station. No pacers are allowed and crew must remain outside the aid station.

Swag and awards vary by distance: 48 hour entrants receive an embroidered jacket, pint glass and two drink tickets; 24 hour entrants receive a hoodie, pint glass and one drink ticket; other distances receive a long sleeve shirt, pint glass and one drink ticket. Distances over 100k earn a buckle that opens to hold a beer glass; other finishers receive medals. Prizes include top placements by distance, relay, and masters 50+ with categories for male, female and non-binary competitors.

On-site logistics note parking near the start/finish and additional parking about 30 yards away on 120 S Sylvania. There are roughly 20 hotels within three miles and Dallas/Fort Worth Airport is about 22 miles away. Volunteers receive park entry, a camping area, race merchandise and a provided meal, plus registration incentives based on shift participation. A custom beer will be available exclusively at the Martin House Miler and a post-race party with a live DJ will take place under the covered area at the brewery.
