Event Overview
The Marshall Mountain Revival Trail Runs take place at Marshall Mountain in Missoula, Montana. The event is described as a way to honor the area's outdoor legacy and showcase new trails built by Missoula County. The courses are looped.
Distances and Format
The event offers three distinct race options:
- Revival Relay (25K): A team event for 2 or 3 person teams. Each team must complete three distinct 5-mile loops, followed by a final half-mile "victory lap" on the Local Glory Trail. Teams decide the running order for the three main loops, and the entire team finishes the final lap together. The total distance is 15.8 miles with 3,600 feet of climbing.
- Revival Solo 25K: An individual race covering the same three 5-mile loops, for a total of 15.4 miles and 3,600 feet of climbing. Runners can complete the loops in any order.
- Moose 5 Miler: A shorter individual race consisting of one 5-mile loop with 1,200 feet of climbing. The course descends on the Moose trail and finishes with a section of the Local Glory loop.
