Event overview
The Marshall Mountain Revival Trail Runs take place in May 2026 at Marshall Mountain in Missoula, MT (5250 Marshall Canyon Rd). The event features team and individual trail events, a kids run, a vendor village, a post-race brunch, a raffle, shoe demos, and post-race massages. Chip timing and unique finisher medals are provided. There are no refunds or deferrals; some bib transfers are allowed for relays for a fee.
Courses and format
- Revival 25K (relay and solo) - three mountain loops, about 25K (~15 miles), 3,600 ft elevation gain
- Moose 5 Mile - one loop, 5 miles, 1,200 ft elevation gain
- Marshall Sprouts Run (kids) - one loop, 0.4 miles, 80 ft elevation gain
Relay teams run the three main loops with a final short "Local Glory" lap together; teams may be two- or three-person. Solo runners complete all three loops. Each large loop shares the same ascent but uses different trails for descent.
Logistics and support
Two aid stations are on course: one at the start/finish and one near the top of the climb (Three Forks). Water and Skratch Labs electrolyte drink are available, plus energy chews and assorted snacks. Awards are given in multiple categories for relays, solo 25K, and the 5 Mile, including masters divisions. Proceeds from event hat sales support Friends of Marshall Mountain.
