Marlow Triathlon
The Marlow Triathlon is scheduled to take place at Higginson Park in Marlow. This debut event features three different race distances to accommodate various experience levels. The course includes an open-water swim in the River Thames, followed by bike routes on closed roads through the Chiltern countryside, and concludes with a run on grassy terrain.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- Half Iron Triathlon: 1.9 km swim, 86 km bike ride, and a 20 km run.
- Olympic Triathlon: 1.5 km swim consisting of two laps, a 38 km bike ride, and a 10 km run.
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 23 km bike ride, and a 5 km run.
The event includes chip-timed results and free race photos for all participants. An event village at the site offers various food and drink options. Marshals are positioned along the route to provide guidance throughout the competition. This triathlon supports Macmillan Cancer Support, an organization providing information and guidance for people living with cancer. Finishers receive a themed medal and a selection of post-race items at the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
