Pick and Mix : 10th Pick and Mix
This walking event is organised by the Long Distance Walkers Association Beds, Bucks and Northants group and is based at Wendover Memorial Hall, Wharf Road, Wendover, Bucks HP22 6HF. Participants choose a total distance by combining looped routes.
Available loop distances include:
- 10 miles loop
- 8 miles loop
- 6 miles loop
- 5 miles loop
Routes follow mainly field paths, tracks, woods and streams through undulating countryside with views from the hills of the Chilterns. One option is described as a wheelchair friendly walk. Route descriptions are provided as downloadable documents and GPX files; route descriptions will not be available on the day. Relevant Ordnance Survey maps are OS LR 165 or OS EXP 181.
The entry fee includes food and drinks at the hall between loops and at the finish. There will be no support on the routes. Vegetarian food will be catered for and some vegan options may be available, but specific dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed. Refreshments are prepared under uncontrolled conditions and entrants should judge suitability for themselves.
Entries are handled through SiEntries; entries open and close on published dates and there will be no entries on the day. Certificates are awarded to finishers and a badge is available on request.
