Marine Memorial 5K
The Marine Memorial 5K is a community running event held in Arvada, Colorado on September 19, 2026. The event is based at Colorado Tap House, 14982 W 69th Ave, Arvada, CO 80007, and benefits the United States Marine Corps Memorial. Funds are used to maintain flags and lights at the memorial and to support efforts to remodel and preserve the site. The memorial is described as dedicated "to all Marines for all time" and aims to honor Marines and remember those who serve.
The distance offered is 5K on a clearly marked trail. The course is described as simple, with a couple of streets to cross; course marshals will assist at street crossings. Specific parking will be available for the event and attendees are asked to follow posted signs. Walking and children are explicitly welcomed.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers, and to the top three males and females in these age brackets: 20 & Under, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 61 & Over. All finishers receive a collectible dog tag handed out at the finish by a veteran volunteer. Registration fees apply and are shown with processing charges.
