Margarita Run 5K - Auburndale
The fourth annual Margarita Run takes place at the Camp Margaritaville Resort in Auburndale, Florida. This event celebrates Cinco de Mayo and features two distinct distances for participants:
- 5K (Chip timed)
- 1 Mile Run/Walk (Not timed)
The course leads participants on a scenic route through the grounds of the Camp Margaritaville Resort and Lake Myrtle Park. Those who register by April 15, 2026, are guaranteed an event shirt, while registrations after this date receive shirts based on remaining availability.
An awards ceremony follows the completion of the races. Recognition is provided for the Overall male and female winners, as well as Masters (40+) and Grand Masters (50+) categories. Additionally, certificates or medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups, ranging from 0-9 up to 85+. Following the athletic portion of the day, a post-race pool session is available for those with the required wristbands. Packet pick-up is scheduled for the Friday before the event at the Paradise Pavilion Front Porch and on the morning of the race at the resort.
