Mardi Gras Madness 10K : Valencia, CA
The Mardi Gras Madness 10K is part of the 17th annual Mardi Gras Madness event in Valencia Town Center on February 28, 2027. The 10K uses a USATF-certified rolling circuit that runs along scenic paseos, bridge overpasses, and sections of the South Fork River Trail. The route includes a stretch on a dirt equestrian trail between Mile 3.25 and Mile 4.85.
The event offers chip timing, marathon-quality tech shirts, and custom finisher medals. All 5K and 10K finishers receive a medal, t-shirt, and a goodie bag. Awards are presented to the top three overall men and women for the 5K and 10K and to top three finishers in multiple age groups and team categories.
Event activities include a Health and Fitness Expo, a beer garden, food vendors, a costume contest, games, giveaways, a silent auction, celebrity hosts, and live entertainment. Early packet pickup is available the day before at the Canyon Club Courtyard in Valencia Town Center; attendees must bring a valid ID to receive a beer garden wristband.
The event benefits JCI Santa Clarita and Students Off And Running SOAR, a program that provides Los Angeles Marathon training support for local youth ages 14 to 18. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
