Mardi Crawl, Arvada CO
Mardi Crawl is a winter running event based at the Colorado Tap House in Arvada that offers in-person and virtual race options on the Ralston Creek Trail and nearby open spaces. The event includes an on-site half marathon, a 10K and a 5K, plus virtual equivalents for each distance.
The half marathon starts at Colorado Tap House, heads east on Ralston Creek Trail for a dogleg and aid station, then continues west before turning south to run a clockwise loop around Blunn Reservoir. After roughly 5.4 miles on the loop, the course returns to Ralston Creek Trail for a downhill return. The half marathon course lists nine fueling opportunities and five toilets.
The 10K is an out-and-back on Ralston Creek Trail that reaches a turnaround at about 3.1 miles, with four fueling opportunities and two toilets. The 5K follows the same out-and-back alignment to a turnaround near 1.55 miles, with two fueling opportunities and two toilets.
Virtual participants receive event swag including a finishers medal shipped the week after the event, remain eligible for the series finisher award and alumni brag tags, and receive modified placement and distance credit toward the Run Amok Championship. The event is part of the Runapalooza series and is a qualifying event for BOLDERBoulder. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
