Mardi Crawl
The Mardi Crawl is an annual running event held in Arvada, Colorado. The race starts and finishes at the Colorado Tap House, with courses designed along the Ralston Creek Trail. This location offers views of open spaces and golf course communities. The event serves as an official BOLDERBoulder qualifying race, allowing participants to use their finish times to qualify for specific waves in that competition.
The race offers three primary distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K
- 5K
The Half Marathon route heads east on the Ralston Creek Trail for a dogleg section before turning west. Participants then run south to complete a clockwise loop around the Blunn Reservoir. After approximately 5.4 miles, the course returns to the main trail for a downhill section back to the start. This route includes nine fueling stations and five toilets.
The 10K and 5K events are organized as out-and-back courses. 10K participants run 3.1 miles west on the trail before turning back, with four fueling opportunities available. 5K participants travel 1.55 miles west before the turnaround, with two fueling stations provided. Virtual options are also available for all three distances, where participants receive a distance medal and credit toward the Run Amok Championship and alumni brag tags.
