Mardi Crawl
The Mardi Crawl is an annual winter running event held in Arvada, Colorado, centered around the Ralston Creek Trail. Now in its 11th year, the event features courses that traverse creekside open spaces and local golf course communities. The start and finish area for all distances is located at the Colorado Tap House.
Participants can choose from several race distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K
- 5K
The Half Marathon course begins with an eastbound section on the Ralston Creek Trail before turning west. It includes a clockwise loop around the Blunn Reservoir and a return trip on a downhill section of the trail. This route provides nine aid stations and five toilet locations.
The 10K and 5K events are designed as out-and-back courses on the Ralston Creek Trail, heading west from the starting point. The 10K participants turn around at the 3.1-mile mark, while 5K participants turn at 1.55 miles. These distances offer two to four opportunities to fuel up along the route.
This event serves as an official BOLDERBoulder qualifying race, allowing runners to use their finish times for wave qualification. It is also a component of the Runapalooza series. Virtual participation options are available for all distances, which include a distance medal and eligibility for specific series credits.
