Marcus Fair 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile Run/Walk
The event is the 21st annual Marcus Fair 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile Run/Walk, held on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Participants meet at Marcus City Park and the swimming pool on the east side of the Marcus Fairgrounds. The routes run through and around the outer edge of the city and are generally flat with small inclines.

Registration fees are tiered by date: registration on or before July 26 is $20 per person; registration from July 27 through event day is $25 per person. Shirts are not guaranteed for participants who do not pre-register. Fruit and water are provided for all participants.
The 5K event includes gender divisions and age divisions. Gender categories are male and female. Age divisions listed for the 5K include: 12 and under; 13 to 18; 19 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; and 60 and over. Awards for the 5K include $30 cash for each overall male and female winner and medals for the top three finishers in each division. No awards are presented for the 1 mile event.
