Marathon Sun Life de Granby - Information
The Marathon Sun Life de Granby takes place on October 4, 2026 in Granby and starts at Daniel-Johnson Park. The course passes through the downtown area, along the shores of Lake Boivin and, for the marathon, includes sections of Yamaska National Park. Routes qualify for the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon.

Official chip timing is provided with timing mats for split times and live tracking via the Sportstats mobile app. Aid stations supply water and Brix electrolytes and some have restrooms. A secure, monitored bag drop area is available. Shuttles run between the Amazoo water park parking lot and Daniel-Johnson Park.
Pace bunnies are available for several distances. Participants receive a technical shirt within the included period and a participation medal unless declined. Medal engraving is provided by Sun Life and distinctive medals are awarded by age category. Podium ceremonies recognize the top three men and women in each distance and the top three in each age group. Event photos are published about 24 hours after the race. Courses welcome independent participants, people needing assistance, and wheelchair users; an accompanying support person can register free through the local support card program.
