Sun Life Granby Marathon
The Sun Life Granby Marathon takes place on October 4, 2026 in Granby. Multiple distances are offered, with courses starting at Daniel-Johnson Park and passing downtown, the shores of Lake Boivin, and for the marathon, sections of Yamaska National Park. The routes qualify for the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon.

Official chip timing is provided with timing mats along the course and live tracking through the Sportstats app. Aid stations supply water and Brix electrolytes, and restrooms are available near some stations. Pace bunnies are available for the 42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km and 5 km races.
Shuttles operate between the Amazoo water park parking lot and Daniel-Johnson Park, and a secure monitored area is provided for bag drop-off. Carpooling is encouraged to ease parking demand.
Courses are accessible to independent participants, people requiring assistance, and wheelchair users. Through a partnership with the Carte Accompagnement Loisir (CAL), registration is free for accompanying support persons. Walkers may participate in distances of 10 km or less; separate overall medals are awarded to the top male and female walkers, with no age group medals for the walking discipline.
Participants receive a post-race meal and a participation medal, and technical shirts are included for registrations before September 3, 2026. Podium ceremonies honor the top three men and women per distance and the top three finishers in each age group. Event photos are made available free of charge approximately 24 hours after the race.
