Marathon Sun Life de Granby
The Marathon Sun Life de Granby takes place on October 4, 2026 in Granby. Races start from Daniel-Johnson Park and pass through downtown, along the shores of Lake Boivin, and for the marathon include sections of Yamaska National Park. The routes are certified for the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon.

- 42.2 km - marathon route including Yamaska National Park sections
- 21.1 km - half marathon through downtown and Lake Boivin shores
- 10 km - course open to runners and walkers
- 5 km - race and walk options available
- 2 km - youth distance with age categories
- 1 km - children’s race
Services and logistics Official chip timing is used with timing mats for split times; live tracking is available via the Sportstats mobile app. Aid stations provide water and Brix electrolytes; restrooms are located near some stations. A secure, monitored bag drop is provided. Shuttles run between the Amazoo parking lot and Daniel-Johnson Park and carpooling is strongly encouraged.
Accessibility and categories Courses welcome independent participants, those requiring assistance, and wheelchair users. Through the Carte Accompagnement Loisir partnership, registration is free for accompanying support persons. Podium ceremonies honor the top three men and women per distance, and age group medals are awarded to the top three in each category. Walkers have a separate classification for distances of 10 km or less.
Included and post-race Participants receive official timing, live tracking, a post-race meal, a technical shirt if registered by September 3, 2026, a participation medal, category medals, and event photos available approximately 24 hours after the event.
