The event features official chip timing with timing mats and live tracking via the Sportstats app. Aid stations along the course and at the finish provide water and Brix electrolyte drinks; some stations have nearby restrooms. A secure, monitored bag drop is available. Pace bunnies are provided for the 42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km and 5 km races. The routes are qualifying courses for the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon.
Participants receive a post race meal, a technical shirt unless declined, a participation medal and age category medals; Sun Life provides medal engraving. Event photos are typically available about 24 hours after the race. The event is open to independent participants, people requiring assistance and wheelchair users.
