Event
The Marathon Beneva de Montréal is a road running event held in Montreal, Quebec. The 2026 edition takes place on October 9. The start line is located at Parc Maisonneuve on Sherbrooke Street East.
Available Distances
Several races are organized:
- Marathon (42.2 km)
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 10 km (sponsored by the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation)
- 5 km (sponsored by Sports Experts)
- The Mile (1.6 km) - hosts the second Quebec mile championships
- 1 km (reserved for participants aged 12 and under)
Combos allowing runners to participate in two races over the weekend are also available, such as the 10 km and marathon, or the 5 km and half marathon.
Practical Information
The event offers an adapted sports program for people with functional limitations. A $10 discount is offered to participants aged 17 and under for the 5 km and 10 km distances. Accompanying an adult during the 1 km event is allowed without registration for the adult.
The event is linked to fundraising for several charitable organizations, including the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, Leucan, and the Fondation Charles-Bruneau.
