The venue is located on the northern end of Te Puru Park near the beach. Race HQ, start and finish lines, and most event facilities are grouped in the north-eastern section of the reserve. Event portaloos will be positioned along the fence by the main on-site car park, about 100 metres east of the venue.
Practical arrangements include number collection (available on the Saturday before the race and on race morning), a self-service Gear Drop area with numbered aisles and a separate Key Drop container, and on-course toilets and aid stations. Aid stations serve water at the first table and electrolyte or sport drink at the second; they are spaced approximately every 3–5 km.
Safety and course management features include marshals at all changes of direction, directional signage, and an emergency protocol that asks runners to alert the next marshal or call emergency services for life-threatening situations.
On finishing, all registered participants receive a finisher medal and a banana or snack bar; water and electrolyte tents are available outside the finish chute. Results are updated in real time and an awards ceremony with spot prize draws will take place after the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
