Maple Rapids 5K Color Run
The Maple Rapids 5K Color Run is a community 5K walk/run held on August 14, 2026 in Maple Rapids, Michigan. The course uses colored powder made from natural dyes and corn starch at several points along the route. The event is not timed.
Towels and washing stations will be available after the run for participants to clean off the powder. A free photo opportunity will be provided. Music and yard games will take place in the social district before, during, and after the event. Spectators and participants can also visit Phillips Cider Bar and Pizzeria or Leo's Boat Shed for food and drinks.
Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes July 14, 2026. Entry fees at opening are $25 for ages 11 and up and $15 for children aged 6 to 10; children 5 and under are free. The entry fee increases to $30 on July 14 for ages 11 and up. Shirts are included for those who register in advance. Check in is located at the park on the corner of Main Street and Poplar Street.
