Come Home to Alma for the Holidays - Jingle Bell 5K and 10K
The event takes place in Alma on 12/12/2026 with activities based at St. Marys School Gymnasium, 220 W Downie Street. The Start/Finish Line will be in Wright Park.
Distances offered:
- 10 km 6.2 Miles
- 5 km 3.1 Miles
- Kids Reindeer Trot about 100 yards / 330 feet
Registration details are provided for each distance. For the 5K and 10K the registration opens 10/01/2026 and closes 12/08/2026 with fees listed at $30 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K. The Kid's Reindeer Trot has a registration fee of $15 and a registration close date of 12/11/2026.
Participant items and awards are specified. 5K and 10K participants receive a shirt, a jingle bell, and a finisher medal. Kid participants receive a shirt, a jingle bell, and reindeer antlers. Overall male and female winners in the 5K and 10K receive an Alma themed gift and a $25 Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. Male and female age group winners receive an Alma themed gift in the following groups: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and over 80.
