Event overview

The Maple City Half Marathon & 5K is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Norwalk, Ohio. The event is presented by the Norwalk Area United Fund and proceeds will benefit that organization. The race uses a one-loop course through the town; the course will be adjusted for 2026 because planned construction will close the Linwood Bridge. A finalized course will be announced later.

The race course is certified and finish times can be used for qualification purposes. Participants must maintain a maximum pace of 15 minutes per mile; runners who fall behind that pace will be asked to move to sidewalks so streets can reopen. Chip timing on bibs will be used by DMC Timing. Runners in both events receive a t-shirt and post-race refreshments. Half marathon finishers also receive a custom finisher medal.
