2026 Manly Rotary Fun Run & Walk
The Manly Fun Run & Walk is a community sports event organized by the Rotary Club of Manly. The event is designed for participants of various interests, offering both running and walking options across several distances. All entry fees and funds raised are managed by volunteers to support various charitable causes in the areas of youth, community, and international service.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 10 km Runners Challenge: This course includes two climbs up to North Head.
- 5 km Fun Run and Walk: This route features a few short hill climbs.
- 2 km Fun Run and Walk: An updated course that includes a short steep hill and passes the beachfront and the Bower.
The event emphasizes charitable involvement through a team system. Charity teams with a minimum of 10 participants are eligible for a cash-back incentive to benefit their chosen cause. Since its inception in 2010, the event has raised over $2.25 million for local charities. The Rotary Club of Manly ensures that administrative costs are covered by separate membership fees, allowing event proceeds to go directly to those in need.
