Narrabeen Allnighter 2026 : event description
The Narrabeen Allnighter is a 12-hour trail ultramarathon held at Jamieson Park on The Esplanade, adjacent to Narrabeen Lake, about 20 km north of Sydney. This edition is the 19th running of the event. Competitors seek to complete the greatest distance possible within the 12-hour time limit on a measured 5.275 km out-and-back loop.
The course follows a bush trail that heads west from the start area, crosses a small bridge west of the car park, and returns along the same loop. The trail is described as flat, smooth and fast; it has been measured but is not certified for record purposes. Headlamps are required for participants.
Divisions include Male and Female categories, with age-group divisions also offered (minimum three entries per age group). Race packs and bibs for 12-hour entrants can be collected from 4:00 PM on the event day. Refunds for withdrawals are available on a sliding scale depending on the date of withdrawal, with full, partial, and reduced refunds specified for different cutoff dates; extra allowance may be given for extraneous circumstances such as public health events or natural disasters.
An awards presentation for 12-hour events is held after results are compiled. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
