Mankato Marathon : Mankato, Minnesota (October 16–17, 2026)

The Mankato Marathon, presented by Mayo Clinic Health System, is a multi-race weekend in Mankato, Minnesota. The event uses a mix of scenic trails and urban streets to showcase the Minnesota River Valley. The weekend includes a Scheels Wellness Expo and a sequence of races and community activities across two days.

Course support includes bike responders and a sport psychology team. Several named races appear on the schedule, such as the Pork Power Bacon 5K and the Monarch Healthcare Management 10K. The event offers combined challenge options that pair the Friday 5K with Saturday races and include commemorative socks and event swag.

Virtual race options are available; virtual entries include shipping of medal, jacket, and bib, and virtual results can be submitted between October 20 and October 31. Registration for the 2026 event opens December 1, 2025. A corporate 5K team challenge is offered for teams of six or more and includes a hooded sweatshirt and team awards for creativity.
