Event
The Mankato Marathon, presented by Mayo Clinic Health System, takes place in Mankato, MN on October 16-17, 2026. The event uses a mix of city streets and trails around the Minnesota River Valley. A Scheels Wellness Expo is held during the event weekend.

Registration opens December 1, 2025 and uses tiered pricing that changes by registration period.
Weekend schedule and services
Race activities span Friday and Saturday of the event weekend. Friday features the expo, KidsK, and the 5K; Saturday features the marathon, marathon relay, 10K, and half marathon. The event lists packet pick-up and bag drop information and notes on-course support that includes bike responders and a sport psychology team.
