Event Overview
The Manitou Triathlon takes place at White Bear Lake County Park in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The event now falls under the management of Midwest Multisport Races. The swim occurs in White Bear Lake, the bike route features new pavement, and the run course is flat.
Race Options
The event offers four race options.
- Sprint: 0.5 mile swim, 13.8 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.
- Olympic: 1 mile swim, 23.3 mile bike, 6.2 mile run.
- Aqua Sprint: 0.5 mile swim, 13.8 mile bike.
- Aqua Olympic: 1 mile swim, 23.3 mile bike.
Participants can take on any option as part of a relay team.
Event Logistics
Packet pickup is on race day at the park. Race materials include a race bib, timing chip, event shirt (if selected), and a finisher medal. A post-race barbecue and awards ceremony are held after the event. A professional photographer is on-site, and parking is free and close to the event site. All participants must agree to the MMR Race Policies upon registration.
Awards
Awards are presented for top overall male and female athletes, as well as the top three male and female athletes in each age group. Age group winners receive a ribbon to attach to their finisher medal. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Awards must be collected in person.
