Manitou Tri is a triathlon event managed by Midwest Multisport Races. It is held at White Bear Lake County Park in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Race Options

The event includes multiple race options:

  • Sprint: 0.5 mile swim, 13.8 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
  • Olympic: 1 mile swim, 23.3 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
  • Aqua Sprint: 0.5 mile swim, 13.8 mile bike, no run
  • Aqua Olympic: 1 mile swim, 23.3 mile bike, no run All options are available for relay teams.

Course Details

The swim occurs in White Bear Lake, where water levels are high. The bike route has been resurfaced, and the run course is flat and paved along the lake.

Event Features

Time trial and self-seeded starts are used for all triathlons. Registration is open to all ages and abilities. Professional photography is provided on site at no additional cost. Parking is close, easy, and free.

A post-race barbecue and awards ceremony take place after the event. Awards are given to top overall male and female athletes, and to the top three in each age group. Packet pick-up is on race day at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
