Event overview
The Manitou Triathlon, organized by Midwest Multisport Races, takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at White Bear Lake County Park / Ramsey County Beach, 5050 Lake Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN. The event includes multiple race formats and allows relay teams. Packet pick-up is held on race day at White Bear Lake County Park. Upon registration, participants agree to MMR race policies and a waiver that states entry fees are not refundable.
Race options and logistics
- Sprint: 0.5 mile swim, 13.8 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Olympic: 1 mile swim, 23.3 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
- Aqua Sprint: 0.5 mile swim, 13.8 mile bike, no run
- Aqua Olympic: 1 mile swim, 23.3 mile bike, no run
Race starts are time trial and self-seeded. Relay teams are permitted. Participants must wear the timing chip on the left ankle. Parking is free and close, with overflow parking available. Race day registration accepts cash or check only.
Services and awards
A professional photographer will be on site. Official results are provided by FrontrunnerUSA. Awards are given to top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female athletes in each age group (19 and under; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70+). Women’s shirts are fitted and run small; men’s shirts are generously sized. Registrations made two weeks or less before the event may receive shirts by mail after the race and requested sizes are not guaranteed.
