Mandy’s Angels Paws for a Cause 5K
Mandy’s Angels Paws for a Cause 5K is a fundraising event held at Hesky Park in Meredith, New Hampshire. Organized by Mandy’s Angels Diabetic Service Dogs Incorporated, a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the event raises funds to provide diabetic alert dogs to children with Type 1 Diabetes at no cost to their families.
The event features the following distances and formats:
- 3.1 miles (5K Run/Walk)
- 3.1 miles (Virtual Run/Walk)
Participants have the option to compete individually or with a canine partner. For those participating with dogs, there is a limit of one dog per runner or walker. Canine "paw-ticipants" can receive their own race bib to appear in the official results. The first 50 registrants for the event are provided with a race-specific shirt.
A virtual participation option is also available for those who wish to complete the distance on their own course. Virtual entrants utilize the RaceJoy application as part of the experience and receive a bib and shirt via mail, provided they meet the registration deadline.
